I don’t know with you but I grew up without experiencing that famous trick or treat! No costume party for the Halloween and all. But there’s quite some difference with the way that celebration is taking place here in our country as the time goes by. We have trick or treating in the malls and some Halloween party then and there. My wife had her first scary costume last Friday on their Halloween party and I had to laugh on her get-up. I was so relieved that we don’t have Halloween costume party in my work. We gave our nephews and nieces some candies this weekend and that was a treat already! Well, my memories of Halloween when I was a child were watching night news and shows that were all scary, they were the sole culprit of my bad dreams.
Yesterday was the first time for the family to spend that ‘halloween’ or ‘all souls day‘ at the cemetery where my father lies. It was like a reunion, every family member was there. We had some feast of food and drinks. But what I love most during our stay was the time we offered our prayer to my father. The family is quite lucky to have almost all members of the choir so we didn’t only offer papa a prayer for his soul but also some catholic songs he loved to listen when he was still alive. My wife captures lots of pictures yesterday so what’s next to do is picture printing time! Now we are both searching for some HP coupon code. Do you have one? I am accepting them for a trick or treat!
