Pretty things come to those who wait

I visited my mom last night with surprise snacks for the kids but unluckily she was not there. I was thinking that she is busy attending the Sari-Sari store of my brother but I came to know that they have a family gathering in Balinsasayaw, the restaurant which happen to be the venue of our wedding reception years ago. I wasn't able to see my mom but am happy coz she is enjoying a night she deserved. And I was so glad to hear some good news about my other siblings; my older sister who has been jobless for years is now hopeful for another chance in her old company, while my younger sister has plans of putting up a small internet café in front of our house and is pursuing a career abroad. There will be a lot of adjustments with the family but it's all exciting to look forward to. 

I shared the story with my wife upon arriving home and she teased me about Balinsasayaw and on how it has been so long ago since we last dined on that memorable place. Little did she know that when I got the chance I will not only bring her to anywhere she wants locally but also abroad - how about staying in orlando hotel? Or visit Disney Land in Orlando with the kids someday? I know that would be a lot of fun and I cannot wait to see wife and the kids priceless smiles. 

But for now, I just have to thank the Lord for the answered prayers and for all the blessings. Many days, months and years have passed and i have been waiting for these and I think this is it as what Jon Bon Jovi says, "Pretty things come to those who wait" and he is right coz am finally saying it is really true!
