Max's Restaurant Lenten Offerings

It’s another invite from Max’s that I could not say no to, so when wife asked me if we should attend Max’s Flavors of Lent Event I said yes right away. I don’t know what to expect but one thing I am so sure of – there will be no couple games that night for us to lose again – just like the last time we attend Max’s event for Valentine’s Day.
Max's Lenten Meals
Since this event is for Lenten Season, Max’s foods are appropriate for the occasion. Since most of the people are observing no-meat during this season, they have new fare called Max’s Sizzling Seafood in Honey Bagoong Sauce (P265.00). It sounds yummy and it tastes excellent. It is perfect for the occasion and for those on “diet” because it is made from selected seafood like squid, shrimp and cream Dory fish with combination of other blend of spices.
Max’s Adobong Kangkong Stuffed Tofu (P150.00) is also one of their new dishes for this season of Lent. I love all kinds of adobo but with combination of Kangkong and tofu – this is just so mouthwatering!
The last but definitely not the least and perfect for the kids and meat-lovers is the Cauliflower Puffs (P160.00). Dipped in special batter, deep-fried and tossed in a special sauce will make you guess if you are really eating a cauliflower. Sure way to trick your kid to eat veggies coz it tastes like meat!
The event moderator asked which of these will we recommend and I can say that I’ll recommend it all. This Max’s new fares for the season started March 1,2012 and will last until Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. Wife and i went home happy and excited for what's next to come with our favorite Max's Restaurant!
